Handling Emotions

If you have already realized your mistake and apologized, you are not guilty. It is within the other person’s prerogative to forgive. If he/she is unable to do it, it is their problem, not yours. Blaming yourself will not help. Give it some time, may be the person needs more time to forgive and forget the hurt.

Please elaborate on the source of the guilt. Avoid being overcritical about yourself. Everybody makes mistakes but it is important to accept our mistake, learn from it and move on. Think about someone you are close to who makes a mistake and how would you console him or her. Treat yourself with same affection and care.
